After breakfast and nap we went to the art show in town then walked to the McConnells.

Beautiful day but didn't buy any pictures.
The Johnsons came over for dinner and Noah was wonderful. He played and entertained us and then went to bed.

Noah had so much fun playing in his tent with the balls ...we will have to mail them to KC for him to play with in your yard or basement ....
I think you are already on the plane ...we can't wait to see you on Tuesday and give you big hugs and kisses. Bring some pictures if you can of your trip. love you so much - we love having little Noah here - what a joy he is....love, mom

Day 13 - 4th of July

It was a long busy day.....so busy that when everyone arrived I only got two good pics. Noah went to bed early, he was exhausted. I can 't wait to just love on him all day tomorrow. The time is going by so fast - we are really going to miss him. What a joy he has been...I love seeing his face every morning, now I am getting sad thinking about him leaving. He was so good and loved being with his cousins again. I set up the giraffe tent outside on the grass and had a bunch of those soft ball and he loved playing in it...so did the girls. Cindy and Ed got caught in traffic so arrived a little later than planned. Dinner was fun but Noah went to bed right before (7pm) It was wonderful to have Cindy and Ed here too - hope we get to see them tomorrow. The girls wanted to see all the secret spots, etc...it was there first time over. After dinner we burned snake firewords on the driveway, played croquet, had a flag hunt, exploring...Noah was asleep he missed the excitement! We didn't go to the fireworks in town this year - Dad had bought some fireworks so we went on our driveway the two of us and he set off a few. Here is a precious pic of Noah and Faith - she wasn't in any of yesterday's pics. look at those smiles. She is good with him.

Before dinner Gram and Dad were on the rocker with the two little ones. Isn't this the greatest picture.
So tired - going to bed - love you so much - mom

Day 12 - The McConnells arrive safely - YEA!

Noah is so happy playing with his cousins. Look at those smiles - he loves them all and they love him. What a joy and blessing it was to see them all together.

When Ellie saw Noah she went back upstairs and got her favorite pink blanket and said Noah could have it for his bed. Such a loving little heart - she always sleeps with it - that was a big sacrifice and love for her to want to give it to him. Tiarnan was so fascinated with him and kept helping and playing with him. They laughed a lot together.

Shanley is like a little mother - she took such good care of Noah on the horse - i made a video of them - he kept squealing for joy - all my pictures of them are blurry because they were jumping. The group walked over to MF and Ellie loved sitting with Noah - she took care of his water sippy cup and was beaming. Noah was so good and not overwhelmed - everyone was real quiet with him in the beginning and he went to them all - he laughed a lot at Nathan and cuddled with Courtney. She even changed his diaper! We had such a great time with them - they arrived late last night after midnight (they were almost in a terrible accident in a bad rain storm as the cars in front of them skidded sideways - they know God protected them - you'll have to hear the whole story from Courtney - she was driving) and the kids were so excited they got up early and almost no naps....Faith wanted to work with Mom today though at Mountain Finding - Courtney said she was so excited and had told people at church all about how she was working this summer with her Great Grandmother...she even found a birthday present for Tiarnan today. I brought over dinner - a great beef stew I made in the big crock pot and homemade applesauce i made in the little crock pot - yummy and comfort food - with warm biscuits and jelly and chocolate brownies for dessert ----Noah loved the stew and applesauce too! (no brownies or jelly ) we went over after Noah had his morning nap and lunch around 2pm and came home at 6:45 - he was so tired he crashed in the car ( usually I give him an afternoon nap but today he missed it) He went right to bed - Tomorrow in the late afternoon everyone comes over for the fourth of July ....sparklers and worms - don't worry, I won't let him get close. So glad to get your email - I love hearing from you, even if it is just a line but I know how hard it can be to get to the computer. Tonight we couldn't get the computer on line and it took about an hour with the service center to get it running again - i had to post my blog! I'm Focused
I know you must miss him terribly - but Tuesday will be here before you know it. I can't wait to hug my baby - you. We hope you are both having a great time and that God is blessing your time together and in His land. with love, mom

Day 11 - What a great baby!

It is diaper time on the big bed - the race is on to catch him - he loves flopping on the down comforter... thought you would want to remember all those stinky diapers - he has usually two big ones a day - no wonder he is so happy...I think i am getting a little punchy...motherhood ...

This morning Noah is so fast - in 2 seconds he was IN the dishwasher - he loved being up and helping .....then he moved to his seat and found all the cheerios and goldfish we had hidden there - he was so excited! He would put one in his mouth and then this huge smile..

You must think we never put clothes on him, just jammies - well, i usually remember to do the pics in the morning or before bedtime....so....jammies. It is so much fun picking out his little outfits, he is so cute in everything. I have been doing more laundry.

In the mornings he has been eating warm oatmeal (like Papa ) and loves it - i put a little raisin, banana, or apple and some milk and he gobbles it up...he also loves my cheese omelets, whole wheat mini pancakes, warm chicken with with pasta - actually he seems to eat anything!

This is Noah's pony that I got him the first day in town - he loves sleeping with it and cuddles with it. I place it on the sheet and then he crawl on it and holds the head ...so cute and comfy. furry on one side - satin on the other (I think it is similar to the dog I gave him when he was born. It seems to soothe him and he rarely cries at all when I put him down for bed or naps.

As you can see Noah just got up - still dazed and not quite ready to let go of the pacifier. He only uses it in his bed. I put the giraffe together and he had fun in it and played for quite awhile by himself. He was so serious today trying to figure out the rocking chair and just sat by it slowing moving it with his little hand. It is hard to catch a cute photo because when he sees me with the camera the head goes back and this silly smile is there... sorry the one pic is upside down - i don't know how to flip it.
We are so thankful you are all safe - this was the news we woke up to today and was on all day. I did know you were out of Jerusalem. The news said the street the terrorist was on in Jerusalem on the bulldozer was like someone going down 5th Ave. in NY - Trafalager Square in London, or the Champs D'Elysees in Paris. So terribly tragic and demonic...we plead the blood of Jesus over all of you for protection and safety. love mom

Tuesday, July 1, 2008

Been a busy day for Noah, his bedtime soon, he looks tired but is trying on Granddaddy's hat. So serious.... these are Noah's toys, as you can see he has been very busy. We took a fun bath tonight (I wore my clothes) I held him and we turned on the jets and he laughed and laughed. It is warmer and better than the pool. The tub is one of his favorite things - loves when I squirt him with his toys.

This is Noah's new camera pose - i think i have overdosed him on photos - he now sees the camera, throws his head back, squints, and smiles.... then he saw his bottle and quickly started to drink - I love holding him so this was a first that he had some alone. bummer
This afternoon we went to Cashiers after his nap for a new phone (the lightening blew ours), food for us and the McConnells and plants. It was a full car! Little man was so good - it took a long time....
So glad you are enjoying the blog - I am trying....He is so stinkin' cute.

Noah loves looking at all the pictures and when the computer comes on and he sees his picture on the screen saver (Noah looking at his baby pics) we have to hold him and play the pictures from Highlands before you left (he also hears your voices in the video of the exploding golf ball). He loves seeing MaMa and PaPa - today he noticed you in the black and white "girls" pic in the office and got the biggest smile. Must go and get everything put away and ready for another great day - love you mom

Day 10 - had to send these from this morning

dad and Noah playing with the Noah's Ark matching cards - could it be any cuter - wish i could move the kiss to the end but couldn't get it to work.... love you
