Day 9 - Oh no, not day 9 already -

Noah now knows our house and his areas and crawls all around - he loves our closet, the office bookshelf, fireplace, screen porch, backyard to swing and especially the rose master bathroom - he stand by the tub and talks....

this morning up at 8:30 - what a great little sleeper- played & had breakfast then off to see Momo at Mountain Findings. Saw lots of people there even Shawn Ramseur and her family there...it was so exciting that Noah crashed on the way home! He then went back to sleep in his bed for another hour and half when we got home.

We started to get out the fourth of July things for Friday - we have decided to have everyone at our house instead of the club - think it will be more fun and then Noah can take a nap if he needs to. Don't worry we will really be watching the little man - he is surrounded by love!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The McConnells come late on Wednesday so we won't even get to see them until Thursday. On Friday, Cindy and Ed come for a few days so we probably won't see them very much until after they leave...but look forward to hugging all those girls (& Nathan) especially on Sunday and Monday ----and then it is Tuesday and we leave early for the airport to meet MAMA....the time is going by so quickly.

Noah loves his baths in the big tub - it has been his easy swimming pool. He loves to read his octopus book and play with all the little squirt toys.

I cut his nails and toenails today and he was pretty patient but did not like it.

Momo and Dad played bridge this afternoon at the civic center and then Dad brought Momo home to see Noah (she can't get enough of him either) have dinner and then the two of them played bridge at Cullasaja. They were both so cute...the partners...can't wait to hear about it.

Hi MAMA and PAPA - I LOVE YOU - here is a big Noah hug.
I can just look at him all day and be happy.

I know these are kind of silly but I couldn't resist...he is so cute and funny. He was pulling the cups out for me before bedtime.

Love hearing about your trip in the emails --glad you are feeling better. I am so thankful that this trip has been such an awesome one. Love you both - mom

Day 8 - More fun with meme & granddaddy

As I was cooking dinner, I wondered why Noah was unusally quiet -(he had been playing with his music toy and I found him reading his book - just like his PaPa!!
Noah now loves to feed himself and was celebrating his victory over food - even used the spoon....I made him some homemade mini meatballs - he loved them - of course a bath followed dinner!

At afternoon snack time Noah had a "Mum Mum" - they are baby rice cakes that I found at the store - they don't goop up or crumble...yum yum
Granddaddy got the blessing of giving Noah his bedtime milk - he does love it.

Today we watched for the first time Baby Beethoven from Baby Einstein - no words just music, puppets, and motion - i was impressed and he seemed to enjoy most of it.
(look at him playing with his toes - isn't he soooo cute)

Day 7 - it is going by so fast - can't believe it has been a week already

& Today at breakfast I gave Noah one of the silver baby cups to drink from - I figured it couldn't hurt since he loves to drink & drool his water from the sippy cup so he can't get any wetter....well, he loved it and used it for every meal really drinking....of course he found it fun to put his food in it too.

He really has been eating great. We had a low key day after yesterday entertaining...i am a little sore from carrying and picking him up...he is just too cute. Dad took him for two great walks - they are really bonding!!! loved getting your email - enjoy your time, we are enjoying our time with NOah...love you sweetie. mom

Friday - Day 6

Lauren do you remember the white duck puppet you had as a little girl - well, Noah loves it -I hide it under the table and he found it and just hugs it and carried it around by holding the beak in his mouth. It is was funny. I also love how he rides the little tractor...feet up! What a good boy he is. The Stepeltons came for dinner tonight and he got a little scared...i think it was close to bedtime and we were a little excited when they came. Will have to quieter when the McConnells come .....Momo came over this morning - he loves her and had fun playing with her...they watched me mow the yard (poor Daddy's arm really is bothering him) I really like mowing with our new electric mower. I made a delicious cake for dinner from my Martha Stewart book - I will make it sometime for you! (I did not give any to Noah) Tomorrow I am looking forward to a low key day and just rejoice in playing with the little man....you would be so pleased with him, he is so wonderful and loving. Hope everything is going well in Israel - we are praying for you. Miss you and hope to hear from you soon. mom

Thursday - Day 5 with little Noah

I think it looks like Noah is praying for his Mama and Papa......we pray for the Lord's protection over you and your group
this is Noah's favorite place to sit - no he isn't playing with dolls but has fun sitting on them and throwing them...I think he thinks they are balls - so so funny
look at those eyes - he is chewing because another tooth came through! He isn't walking yet but is a fast crawler - love his little bummy in the air and straight legs!

What a great little guy - he is doing so well and has adjusted to life in the mountains. He always has a smile and we can't wait to show him off. He got to visit Momo at Mountain Findings today after his nap and lunch - he was quite the hit - Momo introduced him to everyone and he helped her with the cash register. Of course, everyone thought he was darling. Dad has been so much help - I don't think I could do it without him. They went on a walk this afternoon and had a long bathtime together...he loves that tub - (even the bubbles when I held him two days ago) He hasn't been getting up in the middle of the night and is on a pretty good schedule...I think we wear him out - he doesn't even cry and reaches for his bed when is time. He loves holding his horse when he sleeps...no problem with food or poop either. I am amazed how much he plays with his toys and he even sat in the round rocking seat and played for at least 20 min this morning. I sometimes hide goldfish in the little containers on top. I took the stationary legs off and now it rocks and we can whirl him. The McConnells come on Wednesday and Cindy & Ed come on the 4th for a few days...we are excited to see them. Hope to hear from you soon - all our love -

Tuesday - Day 3

Noah is such a good little sleeper - He went to bed at 7:45 last night and didn't get up until
8:30 am!!!! He woke up around 1:00 am and I let him cry for 7 minutes and he went back to sleep until 8:30. Wow!!! He ate a great breakfast, played, took a walk with Granddaddy, went on the swing. He loves the turning play seat and especially the pictures. I hide goldfish in the different areas and he finds them - so excited. Took an amazing nap -- i think he is cutting another tooth but it doesn't seem to be bothering him. He is all smiles and hugs. What a little love.

Now he is playing with the farm and animals - was pushing the tractor all around the living room...(yes he is sucking on the pig! I did give him a cow to chew instead) He is sosososososo funny - look at that smile.

We went to Franklin in the afternoon and had a great trip. What a good traveler . We went to Lowe's first, then Walmart so Noah got to eat his dinner in the garden center! We then went to Ingles and even got home in time to go to bed on time....he was tired, he drank his rice milk as we sang and prayed and didn't even mind going to bed.

We had a great day - Momo is going to come over tomorrow - Hope you had a great flight and are in Israel now - we talked with DeAnn and Mike so we heard about Tommy and Jason ...so thankful they made it. We have been praying you made your next flight in Budapest to Israel...we pray that you will be able to catch up your lack of sleep and be refreshed and enjoy your time there. What a blessing. I know Noah is doing so well is because of all the prayer and the grace of God. We are so thankful and loving our time with him. mom

Monday - Day 2 with Noah in Highlands

look at Noah throw his new ball - just his size and weighs nothing...open weave to put his fingers in and either eat or throw...lots of fun! I also got him an ultra soft pony to snuggle with, he wouldn't let go of it in the store....he is just too too cute.

We have had a great day - went to town and walked down Main Street...everyone smiled at him and said how cute - I said - yes he is and I get him for 14 more days - i am so blessed......

we also went
to Bryson grocery store and got lots of organic cottage cheese and enriched organic rice milk...

(Note from Noah -
